Winners announced for the 'Faces of Mosman' Photography Competition

With over 200 entries received, judges faced a difficult task in selecting 80 for exhibition. The selected photographs reflect the diverse, strange and beautiful aspects of Mosman as well as the wide variety of people who live and work in the area. As an exhibition, ‘Faces of Mosman’ provides a unique snapshot of the suburb and surrounding area.
Mosman retailers gear up for fashionable fundraising

Mosman Fashion houses have organised a community fashion parade as part of the Mosman Festival celebrations.
Fashion parade coordinator, Jakk Armstrong said the parade was a fun way of raising funds for a worthwhile cause.
“This year all proceeds from the Fashion Parade raffle will go to the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service and a few of the male crew members from the service will be featured in the parade,” Ms Armstrong said.

Mosman’s four legged residents will gather at Mosman Village Green on Sunday 17 September for the Mosman Festival Pets Day Out competition.
Canines and felines will vie for the Best Dressed, Ugliest, Best Behaved, Biggest, Smallest or Most Waggy Tail Pet award.
Mosman given marching orders

Over 1,000 local residents and community groups will proudly march from Bradley’s Head Road to Mosman Square next Sunday in celebration of the Mosman Festival.
Mosman Mayor, Councillor Denise Wilton said Council was delighted with the turnout as the original estimate was around 700.
“This is the first street parade since 1992 and it seems the community is as excited as we are.”
If you go down to the Library Walk you’ll be in for a big surprise!

Cute and lovable teddies will be grooming themselves for a Festival date not to be missed.
The annual Teddy Bear’s Picnic is on again, so pack your rug and picnic basket and join in the games, stories and music for you and your special friend.
There will be prizes awarded for the cutest and most loved bears.
Hosted by the Mosman Library, the Teddy Bear’s Picnic will take place in Library Walk on Monday 18 September from 10.30am-11.30am.
