2008 Mosman Festival

A Celebration of Mosman

Mosman Council is proud to present the 2008 Mosman Festival, featuring a spectacular program for all the family. Now in its fourth year, the Mosman Festival provides an important opportunity for local residents and visitors to the area to enjoy and participate in a diverse range of cultural events.

Lovers of good food and wine, art and craft, music, literature, and a variety of sporting activities and entertainment will have plenty to indulge their passions over 10 days and over 40 events. Some highlights of the Festival include: Pets Day Out, Fabulous Food Fair, Concert in the Park, Vintage Car Display, Painting in the Park, Festival Photography Competition and Exhibition, Mosman Shopping Bonanza and Busking Competition and much, much more.

All Festival activities, exhibitions and events will take place at sites throughout Mosman, including Allan Border Oval, Mosman Square and the Village Green, Mosman Library, Mosman Art Gallery & Community Centre, Mosman Seniors’ Centre and Mosman’s retail shopping precincts on Military Road and Spit Junction.

The Mosman Festival is a community event organised by Mosman Council with considerable support and assistance from local volunteers and community groups. Financial support and assistance has also been provided by the following sponsors; Mosman Dance Academy and the
Framing Workshop, Mosman, and in-kind support has been provided by The Mosman Daily.

Mosman Council would also like to acknowledge and thank Ken Done for designing the festival logo and poster, which evokes many wonderful aspects of life in Mosman.

Finally, Mosman Council invites every resident of Mosman and visitor to the area to take part in the Festival and have fun.
